SUSTAINEO-Study on the effectiveness of certifications now online!

What benefit do smallholders have from certifications? Can certifications contribute to improving the living conditions and to a positive development of the rural areas in developing countries? SUSTAINEO, co-founded by Dr. Michael Otto who is founder of the Aid by Trade Foundation, wanted to take a closer look at the impact of certifications as they play an increasing role in commodity sectors, while the impact is often not clear.
